Scenterprises Ltd (http://scenterprises.com/products-page/) is a perfume studio and the “Design Your Own Fragrance kit” was featured in Febuary 2012’s Oprah Magazine in the famous “O” list!

I was thrilled when I received this package in the mail, it came so quick!! Shipping? What shipping? I swear it just magically appeared here, there was no wait at all it seemed! 

The Kit is inside of a thick light red decorative (what seems to be) cardboard box. “the perfume studio” is in the middle of the lid, and the one I received was the Oriental Kit, so it also says that at the bottom of the lid. 

When I opened it up, the contents were a bit scrambled, inside the box itself was torn at what connected the perfumes to the top, but its probably due to the weight of each scent oil and shipping. The packaging isn’t bad at all, but I’d suggest changing it up a little to make it a bit stronger on the inside of the box. 

Besides that, which really has no effect on the actual product, I thoroughly am impressed! I may not be the best at concocting Perfumes, but I had a lot of fun mixing the 6 different vials of scent oils that were included, into the perfume spray bottle. I felt like a celebrity. 

The 6 separate vials include “Musk” “Amber” “Floral” “Spicy” “Woody” and “Citrus” - you can of course order a different perfume kit, I believe they have two other ones that include different scents then this one. The kit also includes 3 pipettes (although on the site it says 2, mine included two of the same size, and one smaller so I’m not sure if that was a mistake or if they changed the amount that was included), it also includes 6 blotters so you can test out how each oil would smell together before mixing by dipping each one into the 6 separate vials and then holding a few different ones together and smelling them. It also includes the 20 ml purse spray ( in which you would mix your perfume oils in), a step by step guide, and a…. feather? I don’t know what the feather is for other then decoration and to tickle your nose :) hehehe. 

If you’re wanting to know how I designed my perfume - I added about half the 5ml bottle of the floral that was included, 3/4 of the 5ml amber bottle - I wanted to make sure that it would smell girly - generally I’m not a fan of florals ( Kim Kardashians’ signature perfume went back to the store after I bought it, I would have left it there with or without a refund x:) but these florals were very delicate and sweet. I then added the entire 5ml of musk to the concoction - I’m a fan of sultry scents so Musk is  a must. I added a little over 2.5 ml of Citrus for a freshness and then wanted to add a bit more sultry so I put about 1/4 of Spicy and 1/4 of Woody - closed the bottle, tipped it 4 times… or a lot more then that just to be sure - to mix it.  I sprayed it on my wrist and was pleasantly surprised with the perfume I had made, if I did it again, I would probably add less musk - just a tad bit less. I am overall very happy with my design, such a fun, cute, and unique idea!
